Green Energy
RCS’s office is powered with a clean, low emissions alternative energy supplier. Our Greenhouse gas emissions have been cut by more than 9.5 tones, Nitric Oxide more than 40 kg and Sulphur Dioxide 8 kg in the last 8 months alone.
RCS Sustainable Actions
Daily actions for our environment: 100% recycled paper and stationary, FSC print products, electronic mailings, total office product recycling, Energy Star office machines and appliances, low emission lighting, monitored strategic planned routes for service vehicles, well tuned and maintained vehicles, are just some common practices in RCS office and fields.
Increased Quality, Life and Performance of Products and Systems
Premium quality and performance system investments have been the exciting paradigm shift in a large percentage of our clientele and contracts. RCS has installed over 400,000 square feet of premium quality products and systems in the last 12 months alone.
From an environmental standpoint this has a profound effect on our environment. We have decreased so far an astonishing 1, 200, 000 pounds and counting of non-biodegradable roofing products (for 200 plus years) that will not be going to our landfills for approximately ten plus years before their time. Tremendous relief’s for our landfill sites with greatly reduced deposits.

RCS continues to study and implement the best solutions and systems towards industry related environmental challenges. Innovations in photovoltaic, thermal energy, green roof and white roof systems are just some of our areas of research and implementation.
RCS National Conservation Philanthropy
“The RCS One Acre per Tone” ™ program is our commitment that stands to date for the contribution to protect more than 150 acres of Canadian conservation sensitive land forever. We are very proud of this commitment.
